THE GAME OF SUPER LUDO

Ludo has its roots in ancient India since several centuries ago. It is a cross and circle board game named Pachisi and was played on a board of symmetrical cross. Cowrie shells were used to move the pieces instead of a dice. The Spanish version of the game is called Parchís which is similar and derived from the Indian game of Pachisi.

Hugely popular across the world, Ludo is played with little or no variations in its original version. We have endeavoured to devise a modern version of this game for people of all ages in a digital application.

Super Ludo by Quriou Design can be played among 2 to 4 players. Moreover, you can select the option to play the game against the computer (as opponent) or against your friends. It can also be played globally even against people from overseas in a global format.

The game is quite interesting as each player gets 4 pieces. Each player has to make these tokens traverse across the board before arriving to the Home-Box. Whichever player arrives first with all four
pieces in the Home-Box is the winner. The game can be continued to decide runner-up and third place winner.

Each player gets a chance to roll the dice. Depending on the number of dots on the dice face, the player moves his pieces forward. For instance, if a player rolls the dice and it lands on the face having four dots he moves four spaces forward. Moreover, if he player successfully throws the dice which lands on face having six dots, he will get another chance to roll the dice. In case he/she rolls the dice for a six in his/her second consecutive chance, a last and final chance is given to roll the dice.

This ancient game was played by the erstwhile Maharajas and emperors of India. Qurious Design has endeavoured to bring the same excitement for all of you.
